How long have you been coming to Nutrish Mish? What made you start?
I started my Nutrish Mish transformation last spring. I felt I needed some support and advice on why my body would not shed the pounds I have been putting on even though I increased my activity cut down on my eating. Also, my doctor labeled me as “pre-diabetic” and was suggesting I take prescription meds to lower my A1C—this was something I didn’t want to do. I would get winded walking up flights of stairs and I wanted to go on a hiking trip in the Grand Canyon.
What has been the biggest transformation you have seen in yourself?
My lifestyle is the biggest transformation. I am able to climb stairs without getting winded. I’m buying new clothes in a size I haven’t worn in 20 years. My A1C is down to where my doctor isn’t pressuring me to take prescription meds.
What made this time different then other times you have tried to get healthier or lose weight?
I believe it was the support and encouragement from Bari Ruben, my coach. Nutrish Mish is easy and simple to follow, no counting calories and “points”. No special foods.
What advice would you have for someone just starting with Nutrish Mish?
Know and commit to a new lifestyle, not a diet to follow until you lose the weight. You won’t lose weight if you don’t eat!
Favorite NM Recipe/Product?
I love the Cauliflower Shepherd’s Pie Recipe. I make a batch and freeze it into four portions.
