How long have you been coming to Nutrish Mish? What made you start?

To be honest I thought about signing up going into 2016 but I dragged my feet. Then I met a girl at the start of January and that really motivated me to sign up for the simple fact that I feel the best gift you can give someone is yourself. I never told her but I really wanted her to be proud of who she was with and show me off the way I was proud of showing her off. I am grateful for meeting her as it pushed me to become a better me and wanting more for myself. I couldn’t be happier with my transformation

 

What has been the biggest transformation you have seen in yourself?

I would say my self-worth. I have always been confident, but through the process I feel my confidence grow further especially as people began to take notice. I really enjoy sharing my success with others with the hope that I can inspire another friend or acquaintance to challenge themselves. I also love that I can see all my efforts in front of the mirror each morning and see my accomplishments of the journey and look great at the beach or the pool.

 

What made this time different then other times you have tried to get healthier or lose weight?

I never doubted I could do it but I really wanted to be accountable to someone other than just me. Having someone that could keep me in line and tell me when I am doing good, or even when I might have strayed a little from the plan. The coaching along the journey was invaluable to me and it has built good habits to last a lifetime

 

What advice would you have for someone just starting with Nutrish Mish?

Writing down the eats from the day can be painful for us but we all need to be honest with what we eat so can navigate the wrongs along with the good habits that we already have. Be patient with the process and you will see the results if you follow guidance you are given.

 

Favorite NM Recipe/Product?

My favorite recipe that I found myself making the most was the enchilada soup. So simple to make in the crockpot which works great for my busy schedule and then let me have a great meal to have for lunch with some brown rice.

 

Anything else you would like to add:

I couldn’t be happier working with Nutrish Mish getting me to the goal we mapped out on day 1. It was a team effort and Michelle made sure to keep me on track. I learned a lot along the way, and really do feel like a new person and love seeing where the transformation has taken me but I am still not done as I have a little work left to do in 2017.
