Congratulations to this week's #TransformationTuesday, Dianne! 

How long have you been coming to Nutrish Mish? 6 months What made you start? 

I thought I was eating right and exercising 5 days a week, but overall, I didn’t feel well. After I ate dinner every night, my stomach would hurt and would feel bloated. Starting Nutrish Mish, I wanted to learn how to eat the right way and wanted to feel good in my own skin.

What has been the biggest transformation you have seen in yourself

Since starting, what I focused on the most was how I felt. The biggest transformation has been how I feel after eating and about myself overall. Of course, I am also happy that I lost weight, but feeling good was most important to me.

What made this time different then other times you have tried to get healthier or lose weight?

My one-on-one private session with Kim, my wonderful Nutritionista, is what made a huge difference for me. She educated me on the importance of eating right. I learned that the things I was eating all along were healthy, but I wasn’t eating them the right way. I learned the right way to combine foods; learning how to balance protein with carbs, dairy, and fat made a major difference.

What advice would you have for someone just starting with Nutrish Mish?

At the beginning, write everything down. It is okay not to learn everything at once. This process is not a rush. Each week, I introduced something new to my routine, making it easier to learn and stick with me.

Favorite NM Recipe/Product?

I have a couple of favorite recipes. Some are egg muffins, Crock Pot BBQ chicken, Eggplant Pizzas, Chicken Teriyaki & Overnight Oats (love).

Anything else you would like to add:

The key changes for me were:
1- Starting my metabolism first thing in the morning by eating something.
2- Drinking at least 64+ oz. of water a day.
3-Eating protein with carbs
4-Eating healthy snacks rather than empty calories

When my 8 weeks were done, I wasn’t ready to stop seeing Kim. I signed up for maintenance, and now I only see Kim once a month. I think by the end of the summer, I’ll be ready to do it on my own but will miss our one-on-ones. Thanks Kim!!!
